Glenn Chad McDonald

Chad McDonald, 55, of Jackson passed away on April 8, 2024, at his residence. He was born on June 9, 1968, to parents Glenn and Jenny McDonald and was raised in Jackson. Chad loved being surrounded by family and friends. He also loved anything NASCAR, Dukes of Hazzard, and Super Heros. Anyone who knew Chad loved him like he loved them.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Carlos and Onzie Neil McDonald and James Ollis and Willie Yvonne Jones.

Survived by his parents, Glenn and Jenny McDonald; brother, Carey (Anitia) McDonald; sister, Cindy (Jeff) Griffin; nephews, T.J. Atchison and Tucker (Layla) McDonald; nieces, Hannah Patton, Jordan (Justin) Phillips, Janna Griffin, Alyssa McDonald, Carly Griffin, and Kathy Ann McDonald; great nieces, Clara Patton, Emeryn and Maddi McDonald; and great nephew, Davis McDonald; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.

Funeral Services will be at 3 p.m. on Friday, April 12, 2024, at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson. One hour visitation prior to services with Bro. John David Steward and Bro. Jim O'Neil officiating. Interment will follow the service at Bethel Cemetery at Chastain Hill.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Griffin, Justin Phillips, Tucker McDonald, Blake McDonald, Jimmy McDonald, and John Kinman.

Honorary pallbearers will be T.J. Atchison, Larry Aspinwall, Joey Stringer, Billy Stringer, Jason Sheffield, Scott Shaw, Shane Shaw, and Bubba Rikard.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Chad's honor to Bethel Cemetery fund.
