Grace Clayton

Grace M. Clayton, 72, of Grove Hill, passed away Monday, February 4, 2019 at her residence surrounded by family. She was born June 24, 1946 to Jessie and Margaret Harris in Mobile. A member of Clearwater Assembly of God Church, she enjoyed gardening, especially flowers. She also spending time with her family and cooking.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, one sister and step-son, Danny Clayton.

She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Ralph Clayton, Sr.; children, Ralph (Holly) Clayton, Jr., Larry Thrasher, Jimmy (Stephanie) Thrasher; grandchildren, Caley Clayton, Bethany Clayton, Evan Clayton, Blake Thrasher, Austin Thrasher, Maddic Thrasher, Chance Thrasher, Lily Thrasher, Taylor Thrasher, Peyton Thrasher; step-children, Jenny Palmer, Johnny Clayton, Teressa (Jose') Vasquez, Tammy (Freddie) Pusser, Dianna (Steve) Morris and step-grandchildren, Sierra Palmer, Jayde Clayton, Gabriel Clayton, Ethan Vasquez, Chad Vasquez and Zach Pusser.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 8, 2019 at Clearwater Assembly of God Church in Wagarville with the Rev. Jimmy Butts officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson and again an hour prior to the service on Friday. Interment will follow the service at Magnolia Lawn Cemetery in Grove Hill with Lathan Funeral Home directing.

Pallbearers will be Ralph (Holly) Clayton, Jr., Jimmy Thrasher, Mike Goldman, Jimmy Chancey, Todd Barnes and Quintin Butts.
