Gregory Jones

Gregory Scott Jones, 40, of Chatom, passed away September 20, 2017 at the Washington County Nursing Home. He was born October 15, 1976 to Clarence and DeeLayne Jones. He was an avid fan of the Florida State Seminole football program and enjoyed entertaining his family and friends as a comedian.


He was preceded in death by his parents.


He is survived by his daughter, Maci Jones; sisters, Tanya (Daniel) Jordan, Janna (Terry) Jenkins, Christy (Jason) Williams; mom, Patricia (James) Lathan; special cousins, Misty Hazelwood, Johnny Hazelwood and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.


A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at Springbank Baptist Church in Chatom with Rev. Rickey Rivette officiating.
