H B Taylor

H.B. Taylor, 85, of Chatom, passed away peacefully at his home on September 26, 2024. He was born on December 11, 1938, to his parents, Marvin and Audrey Hoffman Taylor. H.B. worked as a field mechanic in construction and chemical plants in the surrounding area. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in St. Stephens. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, crabbing and most of all spending time with his grandchildren.

H.B. is preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 59 years, Lena Yvonne Taylor; his daughters, Jade Younge and Kelly Taylor; brothers, Tommy Gene Taylor, Dr. William Arnold Taylor, Joseph Merle Taylor, Dr. Marvin H. Taylor and James Michael Taylor.

He is survived by his son, Thad Taylor; his 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Florence Etta Peters; and special friend, Sandra Duke
