Harold Thomas Boldin, 81, of Jackson, died Wednesday, June 14, 2023. Harold was born October 30, 1941 to Malcolm and Ethel Boldin in Rockford, AL. He graduated from the University of Auburn with a degree in Forestry which he used to find employment at Allied Paper Mill in Jackson. Harold worked at Allied throughout his entire career, retiring after their transition to Boise. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Jackson. Harold enjoyed hunting and fishing but mostly just loved the outdoors and his family. In recent years, he took to meeting up daily with the Senior Men at the Jackson City Nutrition Center to enjoy coffee and fellowship.
Harold is preceded in death by his parents and his son-in-law, Mike Coleman.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 62+ years, Lucille Boldin; children, Karen Coleman (Mike) and Mark Boldin (Mendy); grandchildren, Jonathan Coleman (Nataline), Daniel Coleman (Lillian Paul), Lauren Boldin (Tanner Sheffield) and Morgan Boldin; great grandchildren, Huntley Coleman, Kamden Coleman and Ansley Coleman.
Services will be held Friday, June 16, 2023 at Lathan Funeral Home, Jackson. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the service begins at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Brian Jemison officiating. Interment will follow in Trinity Memorial Gardens with Lathan Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Coleman, Daniel Coleman, Tanner Sheffield, John Gunn, Ted Thompson and Frank Dixon.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Jackson, 214 College Ave, Jackson, AL 36545.
