Herbert Harrison

Herbert Steven Harrison, 59, of Fulton, passed away August 24, 2017 at his residence. He was born June 11, 1958. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting, playing guitar and collecting baseball cards. He had also served in the U.S. Coast Guard.


He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Harrison and brother, Chris Harrison.


He is survived by his wife, Barbara Harrison; son, Bryan Harrison; father, Horrie (Georgia) Harrison; brother, Joey (Cindy) Harrison; sister, Rachelle (Gabe) Fisher and numerous other relative and friends.


Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Lathan Funeral Home in Grove Hill with the Rev. Larry Darden officiating. Interment will follow at Liberty Baptist Church with Lathan Funeral Home directing. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in honor of Steve Harrison to The Alabama Children's Home or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.


Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be: Billy Lee Brooks, Billy Ray Brooks, Leon Harrison, Corey Harrison, Bobby Wayne Brooks, Danny Bedwell, Bruce Wilson, Doug Drinkard, Randall Robertson, Mack Harris, Michael Nelson, Dwayne Gates, John Sheffield, Brian Conner, and Larry Sheffield.
