Howard Nichols

Howard Glenn Nichols, age 81, of Coffeeville, AL died February 28, 2017 in Mobile, AL. Mr. Nichols was born August 16, 1935 to Elbert S. and Roberta Campbell Nichols. He will be fondly remembered as a proud veteran and devoted family man who adored his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.




Mr. Nichols is survived by his wife, Miriam P. Nichols; children, Lynn N. (James "Bubba") Rachel and Angela N. (Glenn) Dunnam; brother, Billy (Maureen) Nichols; grandchildren, Dr. James Nicholas (Lauren) Rachel, Jonathan Howard (Angela) Rachel, Candice Dunnam (Clayton) Hadley, Christopher Glenn (Corwren) Dunnam; and great grandchildren, Tyler Rachel, Jack Rachel, Helen Rachel, Byrnes Rachel, and Clayton Paul.




Visitation will be held Saturday, March 4, 2017 from 10:30 am until 11:30 am at Lathan Funeral Home, Jackson. Graveside Services will be held at 12:00 pm at Magnolia Lawn Cemetery, Grove Hill with Glenn Dunnam officiating. Condolences may be left at www.lathanfuneralhomes.com.
