James Stephen Lobus, 67, a lifelong resident of Four Points, was called to his eternal resting place on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at SAAD Hospice in Mobile. He was born in Chatom on Saturday, June 12, 1954 to John Lobus and Evelyn Smith Lobus. Over the years, he worked in warehouses, was a truck driver and enjoyed farming.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Regina Lobus Hudson.
He is survived by his brother, Frank Lobus; sister, Mary (Mike) Perazzola; nieces, Jessica Perazzola, Jennifer Perazzola; nephew, John Hudson; great niece, Isabella Perazzola and numerous friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 14, 2022 at Lathan Funeral Home in Chatom. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service with Dr. Holly Morales officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Four Points Community Cemetery in Deer Park with Lathan Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers will be John Davidson, Johnny Deese, Emil Delarosa, Joseph Hand, Mike Perazzola and Richard Stringer.
