Jimmie Baugh

Jimmie Claude Baugh, 71, of Grove Hill, passed away on January 12, 2024, with his loving family by his side. He was born on June 15, 1952, to parents Claude and Minnie Mae Pope Baugh. Jim worked at Johnson Tire in Grove Hill for 40 Years. He graduated from Clarke County High School. He was known for his love of fast cars, he enjoyed nature, the wild animals around his home and birds. He was proud to be able to help all of his friends and customers at the tire shop over the years.

Preceded in death by his parents Claude and Minnie Mae Baugh and grandson Damien Baugh.

Survived by his loving wife of 52 years Sheryl Grace Baugh, children Therese Baugh Long, Christopher (Gala) Baugh, Timothy (Anna) Baugh, grandchildren Chandler (Carys) Long, Celia Wesley, Rayne Baugh, Sage Baugh, Braylon Baugh, Ivy Rose Baugh, Roman Bonds, and great-granddaughter, Brothers Alex (Jean) Baugh, Frankie (Ann) Baugh, also a beloved member of his family Gary (Kathryn) Johnson, and many nieces, nephews, and loving friends.

Pallbearers will be Alex Baugh, Frankie Baugh, Gary Johnson, Neil Baugh, Daniel Baugh, Sam Boyette, Hughey Wilkerson, and Tony Baugh.

Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at Bassett Creek Baptist Church in Grove Hill with a visitation starting at 10 a.m. Bro.
