Joan Parnell

Joan Belinda Parnell, 62, passed away on October 11, 2108 at Oakwood Nursing Home I Bay Minette. She was born June 11, 1956 to Clarence and Thelma Estell Parnell. She graduated from Washington County High School and was a member of Fairhope Baptist Church in Tibbie.
Joan was an avid reader, loved to sing, playing hand bells, arts and crafts, and going on adventures with family and friends.
Those left to cherish her memory include her nephew, Cade Parnell, niece, Caylee Parnell and many other family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Willie Arthur Parnell.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday, October 15, 2018 at Fairhope Baptist Church with the Rev. Gerald Beech officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery with Lathan Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers will be Clem Parnell, Richard Price, Richard "Bubba" Weaver, Michael Weaver, Brandon Merryfield and Andy Baxter.
Honorary pallbearers will be Grady Beech and Arthur Beech.
