John Reynolds Jr.

John Clayton "Johnny" Reynolds, Jr., 59, of Eight Mile, passed away June 15, 2017 at his residence. He was born March 3, 1958 to John C. Reynolds, Sr. and Betty Freeman Reynolds. Having established a relationship with the Lord late in his life, his favorite quote had become "All my hallelujahs belong to Him."


He was preceded in death by his birth mother.


He is survived by his parents, John C. and Rose Marie Reynolds; children, Joshua (Wendy) Reynolds, Rhema Reynolds, Krista Reynolds; siblings, Robert (Teresa) Reynolds, Curtis (Stephanie) Reynolds, Teresa (Tommy) Parker, Eugene (Christine) Waltman, Michael Waltman; special uncle, Jack Edward Reynolds and seven grandchildren.


Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Lathan Funeral Home in Chatom with Robert Reynolds officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Springbank Baptist Church with Lathan Funeral Home directing.


Pallbearers will be Lucas Reynolds, Jay Boggs, Joel Reynolds and Joshua Reynolds.
