Judith Deas

Judith Elaine Deas, 79, of Coffeeville, passed away on January 5, 2025, at her home. Judy was born on July 22, 1945, to parents George 'Buster' and Onie White Coate in Coffeeville. Judy enjoyed the community Coffeeville and had many lifelong friendships. She enjoyed her Alabama football, spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents, brothers Cecil, Robert, George, James, Bennie, and sisters Myrtie Fountain, Jeanette Williamson, Effie Byrd, grandsons Robert Lance Criswell and Joshua Wayne Deas.

Survived by her daughter Laurie (Kenny) Pritchett, and son Kenny Deas, grandson Chase (Jenny) Criswell, granddaughter-in-law Catie Criswell, great grandchildren Maddox James Criswell, Cayson Lance Criswell, John Colby Foster, Alana Anderson, her sister Anna Towsend, special loving cousin Vivian Paul, many nieces and nephews, extended family, and loving friends. She will be missed by her loving feline companions Blacky, Baby, and Fluffy.

Funeral Services will be at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson with a visitation starting at 11 a.m. Bro, William Dortch officiating. Burial will be at the Coffeeville Town Cemetery following the service.
