Julia Wooten Boutreis, 57, of Northport, passed away at UAB Palliative Care on Thursday, August 26, 2021. She was born in Albany, GA on December 21, 1963 to Roy Fredrick Wooten and Anna Belle Harrington Wooten. She was employed with Celerit Technologies as a senior programmer. She enjoyed spending time with her family, going to Disney World, outdoor activities, and especially attending University of Alabama football games.
She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Frederick Wooten.
She is survived by her mother, Anna Belle Harrington Wooten; husband Daniel Mark Boutreis; daughters, Lindsay Powell (Bryan Douglas) Blocker, Carly Danielle Boutreis; granddaughter, Rebekah Anne Blocker; sister, Lynda Wooten White; niece, Ashley White Diaz; great-nieces, Allie Williams, Aniston Williams; great-nephew, Henry Diaz and numerous other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at First United Methodist Church of Jackson with the Rev. Dr. Ralph Wooten officiating and Lathan Funeral Home directing.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or the Brain Aneurysm Foundation.
Due to Covid 19 concerns, the family has requested that all who attend wear masks.
