Kellen Overstreet

Kellen Rachael Overstreet, 26, of Jackson, passed away May 1, 2019 at her residence. She was born September 11, 1992 to Robert and Sonja Alford Overstreet in Mobile. A 2011 graduate of Jackson Academy, she also attended the University of South Alabama in Mobile. She enjoyed sports of all kinds, music, outdoor hobbies and spending time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Raymond Overstreet and Elbert Alford.

She is survived by her parents; brother, Robert Travis (Savannah) Overstreet; nephew, Robert Jacob "Jake" Overstreet; nieces, Riley Grace Overstreet, Sadie Kate Overstreet; grandmothers, Faye York Overstreet, Eunice Singleton; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Monday, May 6, 2019 at Stave Creek Baptist Church with the Revs. Scott Myers, Darren Williams and eulogist, Krista Lyon officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens with Lathan Funeral Home directing.

Pallbearers will be Randall Overstreet, Jon Harvey, Sam Scott, Will Wright, Cole Alford and Nicholas Alford.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Jackson Academy 2011 senior class.
