Kelvin James Coker, 60, of St. Stephens, passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2020. He was born on October 19, 1960 to William Earl Coker and Joyce Verline Sullivan Coker. Prior to becoming disabled, he had been employed as a heavy equipment operator in the road construction industry. He enjoyed hunting and was a devoted grandfather who enjoyed spending time with all of his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Nic Coker.
He is survived by his wife, Debra Coker; son, Clint Coker; grandchildren, Emileigh Coker, Baylee Coker, Kelcey Coker; siblings, Melvin (Shelley) Coker, Marilyn C. (Wayne) Pugh, Velma Smith, Kimberly (Duffy) Tarver, Tim Coker and numerous other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Clearwater Assembly of God Cemetery in Wagarville with the Rev. Glenn Sullivan officiating and Lathan Funeral Home directing. There will be no public visitation.
Pallbearers will be Harley Coker, Douglas Daniels, Joshua Deas, Bradley Motes, Channen Powell and Randy Sullivan.
Honorary pallbearers will be Howard Milne and Charles Scarborough.
