Kenneth Coleman Chastain, 85, of Jackson passed away April 1, 2018 at his residence. He was born November 25, 1932 to Jack and Lucille Chastain. He retired as a woodyard superintendent in 1994 from Boise Cascade after 30 years of service. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jackie Chastain; son-in-law, Mark Leewright and one grandson, Woody Alday.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy "Dot" Chastain; daughters, Debbie Leewright, Nickie (Grady) Alday, Angie (Bob) House, Sherry (David) Keasler; sister, Gail Sherman, seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. on April 5, 2018 at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson with the Rev. Alan Gantzhorn officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Jackson.
Pallbearers will be Scotty Alday, Corey Leewright, Sam House, Will House, Travis House, Chase Keasler and Peyton Keasler.
Honorary pallbearers will be Grady Alday, Bob House and David Keasler.
