Larry Smith

Larry Eugene Smith, 68, of Irvington, passed away March 31, 2018 at Mobile Infirmary. He was born August 14, 1949 to Roland Fellon Smith, Sr. and Esther Harris Smith in Chickasaw. A security guard, he always had an interest in law enforcement and served for a term as an elected constable in the Irvington community. He also enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, James Kenneth Smith and Roland Fellon Smith, Jr.
He is survived by his sister, Lula Rae Smith of Irvington.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson with the Rev. Renea Henderson officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Ulcanush Baptist Church in Coffeeville.
