Leah Lovette

Leah MarTelia Lovette, 43, of Coffeeville, passed to her eternal home on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at her residence. She was born in Mobile on Thursday, August 16, 1979. Leah lived with her parents in Coffeeville her entire life. She was a happy child who enjoyed life to the fullest, despite several health issues. She especially enjoyed attending services at her church, Jones Chapel Church of Christ and loved living in the country where she could enjoy being with the farm animals as well as the plentiful wildlife. One of her favorite pastimes was riding the four-wheeler with her sister, Jessica, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charlie Lovette, Telie Roberts Lovette, Ray Roberts, Erline Counselman Jones Roberts; special uncles, Kenneth C. Jones, Owen Benton Jones and special caregiver, Gracie Chapman.
She is survived by her parents, Alex Junior Lovette, Wanda Roberts Lovette; sister, Jessica (Jamie) Mauldin; uncles, Larry L. (Sharon) Jones, Henry (Debra) Lovette, James (Gay) Lovette; aunt, Mary Ann Linder; her special CCARC friends, Tammy Smith, Marlisa "Punkin" Williams, Bertha Thomas Cade and all of the clients and employees and numerous other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at Jones Chapel Church of Christ Cemetery with Renea Henderson officiating and Lathan Funeral Home directing. Friends and family will visit in the church after the service has concluded.
Honorary pallbearers will be the employees and clients of the CCARC in Jackson.
