Lennette B. Horton, 90 of Jackson, passed away December 28, 2018 at Mobile Infirmary. She was born March 10, 1928 to Bernard B. and Alice Virginia Brown in Jackson. A member of McCanns United Methodist Church, she had been involved with the Women's Missionary Society. She enjoyed sewing, ceramics and Alabama football and had served as the administrator at WHOD radio station in Jackson for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Bernard Wade Horton, Michael Horton and sister, Aline Stokes.
She is survived by her husband, Winston David Horton, Sr.; children, Diane (Buddy) Perkins, Judy Hudson, David (Rebecca) Horton; grandchildren, Thea (Billy) Wiggins, Freya (Billy) Biggers, Gunnar Hudson, Jr., Katie Hudson, Rachel Horton, Haley Horton and great-grandchildren, Will Wiggins, Rush Wiggins, Kalin Diane (Toby) Roach and Carter Biggers.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday, December 31, 2018 at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson with the Rev. Earl Watson officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens with Lathan Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers will be Gunnar Hudson, Jr., Will Wiggins, Rush Wiggins, Carter Biggers, John Johnson and Dwight Johnson.
