Lenzy Reed

Lenzy Albert Reed Jr., 48, of Monroeville, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2022 at USA Medical Center. He was born July 27, 1974 to Lenzy Albert Reed Sr. and Minnie Grace Reed. Lenzy worked for many years for the City of Monroeville in the publics works department. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. Lenzy was a huge Alabama fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Lonnie Reed, Becky Sheldt, Charles Henry Reed, and Leiland M. Jordan Sr.
He is survived by his brothers Woodie (Eden) Reed, Wayne (Lacinda) Reed, Marvin Reed, Lucas Gibson, Bobby Earl Gibson, Adam Gibson, Ricky Stacey. Sisters Patsy Reed, Theresa (Bobby) Lassiter, Linda Tanner, and Peggy Adams, special niece Crystal Overton, and many other nieces, nephews and friends.
Viewing will be 5 pm to 8 pm on Monday, August 8, 2022 at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson. Funeral Services will be at Hill Spring Holiness Church in McIntosh Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at 11 am with a viewing one hour prior to services with the Rev. Benny Harrison officiating.
Pallbearers will be Lucas Gibson, Bobby Earl Gibson, Adam Gibson, Ricky Stacey, Hunter Reed, Jessie Lowery, Michael Lassiter, and Jimmy Moody.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Bobby Lassiter, Ricky McKinley, and Clay Overton.
