Linda Dungan

Linda Gayle Loper Dungan, 62, of Millry, passed away July 2, 2016 at her residence. She was born November 19, 1953. She enjoyed spending time with her family and sharing her love of gardening and canning with family and friends.


She was preceded in death by her father, Johnny James Loper; sister, Shirley Dearmon and brother, Johnny Ray Loper.


She is survived by her husband, SJ "Butch" Dungan; children, Jeremy Dungan, Ray Dungan, Rebecca Dungan; mother, Maudie Goldman; sisters, Debra Dungan, Bobbie Reynolds; grandchildren, Jacob Dungan, Tristan Dungan, Katelynn Freeman, Brodie Dungan, Walter Stallings, Isaiah Stallings; great-grandchild, Elizabeth Dungan; nieces and nephews, Robert Dearmon, Tommy Dearmon, Billy Joe Dearmon, Lamar Dungan, Kim Malone, Danielle Dennis, Angela Dungan; great nieces and nephews, Cruz Dennis, Ariel Dungan, Genisis Dungan, Levi Malone, Sarah Malone; great-great nieces, Kinzleigh Dennis and Avery Dennis.


Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Yarbo Assembly of God with the Rev. Gregory Morris officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at the church cemetery with Lathan Funeral Home directing.


Active pallbearers will be Tommy Dearmon, Robert Dearmon, Billy Dearmon, Justin Clark, Lamar Dungan and James Stallings.


Honorary pallbearers will be Steven Floyd, Terry Thompson, Jonathan Singleton and Josh Clark.


Ushers will be Stacy Atchison and Scotty Thompson.
