Linda Wilson Harrell, 77, of Grove Hill, passed away Monday, December 20, 2021 at George Regional Hospital in Lucedale, MS. She was born in Alabama on September 22, 1944 to Thomas Harris Wilson and Mary Ellen Faile Wilson. A longtime hairdresser in Grove Hill, she was also a devoted member of Grove Hill United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir and taught Vacation Bible School. She was a devoted wife and grandmother and enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles in her spare time.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Harris Wilson, Mary Ellen Faile Wilson; husband Ray Bernard Harrell and brothers-in-law, Tim Williamson and Bryant Bolen, II.
She is survived by her children, Mark (Melissa) Harrell, Leslye (Gary) Stalvey, Richard Harrell, Samantha (Tyler) Miller; grandchildren, Anthony Harrell, Megan Harrell, John Ross (Bailey) Harrell, Meredith Stalvey, Ava Stalvey, Destin Gonzalez, Harley (Waylon) Rowell, Matthew Harrell, Grady Dunagan, Emma Grace Miller, James Miller; great-grandchildren, Jewel Gonzalez, Henry Gonzalez, Grayson Gonzalez, Victoria Gonzalez, Raffael Gonzalez, Mari Cruz; sisters, Lyda Williamson, Lanie Bolen and numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Lathan Funeral Home in Grove Hill with the Rev. Dave Rhodes officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Magnolia Lawn Cemetery adjacent to the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Bryant Bolen, III, Robbie Bolen, Gene Clarke, Jim Dunagan, Emma Grace Miller, Ryan Miller, Coleman Quinn and Waylon Rowell.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ronal Dunagan, Randy Harrell and members of the Grove Hill United Methodist Church Choir.
