Linda Henley

Linda "Lynne" Henley, 68, of Jackson, passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at her residence surrounded by family. She was born November 17, 1949 to Sam Ray Johnson and Emma Weaver Johnson, both of whom preceded her in death. An avid reader, she enjoyed her pets and loved spending time with her family. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Jackson.
She is survived by her husband, Walter Gaines "Jack" Henley, Jr.; sister, Betty (Herbert Ray) McMullen; brothers-in-law, John (Helen) Henley, Frank "Mac" (Sandra) Henley; nieces and nephews, Misty McMullen (Kevin) Glass, Mike (Katie) McMullen, Matthew (Nicole) Henley, Andrew Henley and great nieces and nephews, Katie Glass (Tyler) Frederick, Michael Glass, Emma McMullen and Anna Claire McMullen.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 5, 2018 at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson with Dr. Ben Stubblefield and Rev. Brian Jemison officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Jackson with Lathan Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers will be Craig Crew, Mike McMullen, Matt Henley, Don Terrell, Jack Johnson and Lee May.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude's or Pilots for Christ.
