Lloyd Edwin James, 65, of Wagarville, passed away Sunday, January 30, 2022, at Washington County Hospital in Chatom. He was born in Chatom on Monday, October 1, 1956. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served during the Vietnam Conflict. He enjoyed fishing, working on automobiles, building all kinds of things and spending time with his family and many friends. He especially enjoyed the company of his grandchildren when time permitted them to be together.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Anita (Scott) James; children, Jeremiah James, Zechariah James, Carrie (Benjamin Quinn) James; grandchildren, Emberliegh, Jesiah, Hannah, Dominic, Gillian; siblings, Belinda Gail (James) DiSario, Jeffery James and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd R. (Nell) James; mother, Freda (Pete) Jordan and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and numerous cousins.
