Mack Sellers

Mack Lofton Sellers, 77, of Satsuma and previously of Coffeeville, passed away Monday, April 20, 2020 at Mobile Infirmary. He was born in Wilmer on September 4, 1942 to Jessie Lofton Sellers and Margaret Agnes Davis Sellers. After moving to Satsuma, he attended Creola First Baptist Church, but he had been a lifelong member of Ulcanush Baptist Church in Coffeeville and had been employed with the Jordan Timber Company. He enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with his many friends at a Mobile nursing home in recent years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Betty Knapp.

He is survived by his sisters, Margie Rotch (William) Purvis, Janice Courtney; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and special long-time friends, Bobby Huff and Ralph Kelly.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 24, 2020 at Ulcanush Baptist Church with the Rev. Al Brown officiating and Lathan Funeral Home directing.

Pallbearers will be Greg Courtney, Robert Estes, Brad Motes, Bill Purvis, Phillip Roberson and Ryan Roberson.
