Margaret Daniels

Margaret Palmer Daniels, 80, of Jackson, passed away Sunday, February 6, 2022, at Mobile Infirmary. She was born in Leroy on Tuesday, November 25, 1941. A member of the First United Methodist Church of Jackson, she had been a devoted employee at Health Actions in Jackson for many years. Spending time with her grandchildren was her favorite thing to do and enjoyed beach vacations and shopping trips with them whenever time permitted.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dabney Palmer, Dessie Batley Palmer; husband, Henry Morgan Daniels and siblings, Sadie R. Blackwell, Doris J. Richardson and Woodie Richardson.
She is survived by her son, Stephen (Janene) Daniels; grandchildren, Anna Marie Daniels, Carrie Elizabeth Daniels; sister, Daphne Palmer Boone and numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 11, 2022, First United Methodist Church of Jackson with the Revs. Jim DuFriend and Ralph Wooten officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Jackson with Lathan Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers will be Bradley Boone, Brandon Boone, Bryson Boone, Marty Cranford, Jeff Savage and Michael Whitehead, Jr.
The Jake Brown Sunday School Class of First United Methodist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers.
