Margaret Dunkin

Margaret Ann Dunkin, 77, of Dickinson, passed away August 5, 2018 at Mobile Infirmary. She was born May 11, 1941 to Joseph Raleigh Halbert and Margaret Louise Walters Halbert in Selma. She had been employed in the cafeteria at Meadowview Christian School in Selma when her children were in school, but she primarily enjoyed her life as a homemaker for husband and children. She was passionate about maintaining her yard and especially enjoyed working with her flowers. She and her husband, Henry Dunkin, enjoyed attending car shows.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, as well as her sister, Betty Gibson.
She is survived by her children, Allen (Mary Anne) Dunkin, Kristin (Don) Bradford; grandchildren, Olivia (Brett) Bradford, Caleb House, Becca Dunkin, Libby Dunkin, Matthew Dunkin; great-grandchild, Kylie Munson and nieces, Ramona (Paul) Weaver, Sharon Thompson and Melanie (Bill) Hause.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Lathan Funeral Home in Grove Hill.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at New Live Oak Cemetery at 110 W. Dallas Ave., Selma, AL 36701 with the Rev. Bill Faircloth officiating and Lathan Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Tillman, Aaron Tillman, Mark Smith, Don Bradford, Heath Bradford and Brett Bradford.
