Marian Altham

Marian Smith Altham, 78, of Walker Springs, transitioned from this life on February 11, 2021 at her home with family. She was born to Edward and Pat Smith in Manchester, England on May 4, 1942. She loved traveling and bird watching with the love of her life, best friend and partner of 57 years, Keith. She enjoyed spending time with family, cross stitching and working out with Silver Sneakers at Health Actions.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Keith Altham; son, Jason Altham; daughters, Tracey (George) McIntyre, Vicki (Bret) Lehr; grandchildren, Jillian (Jordan) Stone, Elizabeth Marks, Kristian (Cammie) Thomas, Chandler Thomas, Conner Hammond, Caleb (Brandi) McIntyre, Cass (Kendall) McIntyre, Garrett Lehr, Tanner (Brie) Lehr, Austin Lehr; great-grandchild on the way, Amelia Stone, great-grandchild, Aaro Lehr; sister, Margaret (Alan) Green; caretaker; Bessie Savage and other relatives.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson with Dr. Andy Goode officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
