Marie Sullivan

Marie Sullivan, 84, of Jackson, passed away October 30, 2016 at Springhill Memorial Hospital in Mobile. She was born January 20, 1932 to Herbert Melton McClamy Sr. and Vida Coxwell McClamy A lifelong member of Jackson First Baptist Church, she enjoyed Sunday School and was active with WMU. She was also an avid fan of Alabama football and had been employed with Vanity Fair.



She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Amy Marie Dunagan.; siblings, Herbert Melton "H.M." McClamy, Jr., Bernice McClamy Hayes and nephew, Daniel Melton McClamy.



Survivors include son-in-law, Rodger Dunagan of Jackson,; sister-in-law, Frances McClamy of Jackson; granddaughter, Ali Marie Dunagan of Jackson; nieces and nephews, Mac Hayes, Kay Slayton, Kim Hayes, Suzanne Browning, Jeanne Wickell and numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.



Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at First Baptist Church of Jackson with Dr. Ben Stubblefield officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens with Lathan Funeral Home directing.



Pallbearers will be John Purvis, Mac Hayes, Frank Dixon, Hunter Browning, Kyle Wickell, Harvey Little, Charles Harrell, Stick Outlaw and Quinton Brooks.
