Marzelle Platt

Marzelle Platt, 82, of Escatawpa, passed away Friday, February 7,2025 at Washington County Nursing Home in Chatom. She was born in Rosston, Arkansas on May 6, 1942, to parents Fred and Denver Delaney Kirk. She was a member of Four Points Baptist Church. She sold cosmetics for many years, then started a home business selling baked goods. She enjoyed reading, baking, and traveling.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Bernice, JB, Elsie, Bobby.

She is survived by her son, Hardy M. Platt, III.

Private services were held on Monday, February 10, 2025, at Escatawpa Baptist Cemetery with Lathan Funeral Home directing.
