Myrtie Hoven

Myrtie Mae York Hoven, age 93, passed away October 24, 2017 in Boerne, Texas. Mrs. Hoven was born June 2, 1924 to the late Simmeon B. and Mary Ida York in Jackson, Alabama. She was a member of Stave Creek Baptist Church. She was an avid Auburn Football Fan who loved her family dearly.



Mrs. Hoven is predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Mr. Roy Leo Hoven.



She is survived by her daughter, Debra (David) Morris of San Antonio, TX; grandchildren, Jennifer Morris Duplissey, Samantha Morris Davis, and Kristin Morris Eubanks; great grandchildren, Flynn Riley Davis, Reese Adeline Davis, Reagan Audrey Duplissey, Bo Emmaline Davis, Dain Sabastian Duplissey, Emma Ily Eubanks, and Alice Riley Duplissey each of San Antonio, TX.



Visitation will be Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Stave Creek Baptist Church, Jackson from 1:00 pm until the time of service at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. An online guestbook may be signed at www.lathanfuneralhomes.com.
