Nora Beck

Nora Lee Motes Beck, age 95, passed away September 19, 2017. Mrs. Beck was born March 8, 1922 to the late Jim and Fannie Motes. She was a member of First Pentecostal Church of Jackson. Mrs. Beck was extremely well loved and cared for by her extensive family.






Mrs. Beck was predeceased by her children, Mary M. York and Jimmy A. Beck; siblings, Sam Motes, Eva Howell, Ann Etheridge, Ruby D. Sellers, Bertha Hudson, and Frances "Chick" Thomas.






She is survived by her children, Christine Hayes, Sylvia Powell, Shelia Powell, and John "Tony" (Rhonda) Beck; 16 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren, one great-great-great grandchild, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.






Services for Mrs. Beck will be held Saturday, September 23, 2017 at River Hill Baptist Church, Salitpa. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until the service begins at 2:00 pm with Rev. R. K.
