Ollie Blackmon

Ollie Blackmon, 92, of Jackson, passed away on December 30, 2024, at his home. He was born on January 10, 1932, to parents Clifford and Maggie Blackmon.

Ollie retired from Boise Paper after 45 years, he found peace and enjoyed cutting his lawn on his riding mower. He served his county honorably in the United States Navy during the Korean War.

Preceded in death by his parents, wife Wilda Blackmon, children Mary Taylor, Elaine Thompson, Wendy Stuart.

Survived by his grandchildren Noal Roney, Kristy Blackmon (Brad) Campbell, greatgrandchildren Jude Campbell, Nicholas (Tori) Roney, Christian Roney, Aliyah Roney, Paige Marcet and son-in-law William Taylor.

Graveside Services will be at Stave Creek Baptist Church Cemetery at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 9, 2025.
