Pamela Rena Ellis Rivers, 56, of Coffeeville, passed away on July 19, 2018 at her residence. She was born in Chilton County to Dorothy Yvonne Ellis Smith and Malrie John Ellis, Sr. on January 16, 1962. She attended school in Mobile. She married the love of her life, Alvin Wayne Rivers, Jr., on June 6, 1987 in Grove Hill. She was a homemaker, caretaker and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. Pam was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt. She was kindhearted and always had a smile on her face.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12 p.m., on Wednesday July 25 at Oak Grove Church with the Bro. Morris Hill, officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow the service at the Oak Grove Cemetery with Lathan Funeral Home directing.
She was preceded in death by Gerald Lane Ellis, Rodger Dennis Herring Jr, Malrie John Ellis Sr., Dorothy Yvonne Ellis Smith, Terrell Lane Ellis, Malrie John Ellis Jr, and Jaxon Wayne Ellis.
She is survived by her husband, Alvin Wayne Rivers; children, Frankie Lee Wayne (Lindsey Parker) Ellis, Jessica Rena (Jeffrey Morgan Hopper) Herring; sisters Kathi Darlene E Baker, Deborah Yvonne E. Turner; grandchildren, Patsy Cheyenne Rena Hopper, Juilin Xavier Morgan Hopper, Alexus Maraine Lee Hopper, Frankie Lee Wayne Ellis Jr., Jasen Lee Ellis, Addalynn Rena Ellis, Quinnaly Paige Ellis, and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Steve Stewart, Patrick Rivers, Ramon Wilks, Juilin Hopper, Daniel Long, and Jeffrey Hopper.
