Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Lathan Funeral Home, Grove Hill.

Patricia Glenn Jones, 60, of Grove Hill, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at her residence. She was born May 13, 1959 in Montgomery to Billy Morris Glenn, Sr. and Wanda Faye Waldrop Glenn. A veteran educator in the Alabama Public School System, she spent the last thirteen years as the librarian at Sweet Water High School, a position that she thoroughly enjoyed. In addition to her duties as a librarian, she was also the yearbook sponsor, mass media specialist and was a member of the Alabama Library School Association. She was also a passionate fan of the National Basketball Association (NBA) and a fanatical fan of Auburn University football.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Scottie Glenn.

She is survived by her husband, Gerald Leo Jones; children, Lindsey (Steven) Crosby, Whitney (Kevin) McCrillis, Sawyer Jones; grandchildren, Emma Crosby, Tate Crosby, Case Crosby, Robert McCrillis; siblings, Teresa Harrell, Billy (Joy) Glenn, Jr. and a host of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for family and friends will be conducted at Lathan Funeral Home in Grove Hill at a time to be determined.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Sweet Water High School library fund to purchase new books would be appreciated.
