Pauline "Nade" McIlwain, 83, of Tibbie, AL passed away on Wednesday, July, 20, 2016 at her home. Mrs. McIlwain was born in the Seabord community on October 15, 1932 to Wash Steven Gardner and Ola Mae Parnell Gardner. She was a homemaker and attended Hawthorne Road Assembly of God and Chatom Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Zollow Theophilus "Thee" McIlwain; sister, Louise Webb and brothers, Joe Grant Gardner, Mose Gardner, James Gardner, Ham Gardner and Steve Gardner. She is survived by her eight children: Elsie (Doyle) Moss, Maxine (Marlin) Parnell, Geraldine (Colma) Feaster, Caroline (Jimmy) Atchison, Ronnie (Cindy) McIlwain, Connie (James) Richerdson, Lonnie (Tammy) McIlwain and Catherine (Gerald) Black; two sisters, Mandy Binkley and Judy (Roy) Hall; three brothers, Tom Gardner, Jerry (Sharon) Gardner and Darrell (Betty) Gardner; grandchildren, Christy (Wiley) Middleton, Chad (Britney) Everett, Derek Everett, Sadie (Lamont) Davis, Michael Street, Jonathan (Bonnie) Moss, Monica (Charles) Taylor, Brandon (Lorrie) Richardson, J.R. (Lara) Atchison, Rev. Ashley Atchison, Rachel Lynn (T.J.) Smith, Courtney McIlwain, Tia McIlwain, Havannah McIlwain, Jeremy Richerdson, Lauren McIlwain, Paul (Shena) McIlwain and Alli Black; and twenty six great grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons, Chad Everett, Derek Everett, Jonathan Moss, Brandon Richardson, Jeremy Richerdson, Paul McIlwain and J.R. Atchison. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 11:00a.m. at Lathan Funeral Home, Chatom, AL with Bro. Bob Young officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Fairhope Baptist Church Cemetery. Lathan Funeral Home, Chatom, AL directing.
