Philip Winton

Philip Smith Winton, 58, of Daphne, passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at Thomas Hospital in Fairhope. He was born in Gourock, Scotland on Sunday, May 5, 1963, to John Winton and Annie Rollo Winton, both of whom preceded him in death. He was a proud veteran of the British Royal Marines and was a Master Mason. He was a very active man who enjoyed his work at Bass Pro Shop as a boat detailer and playing guitar. He had a "cheeky" sense of humor and a quick wit.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Lambard Winton; son, Ross Galbraith-Winton; several siblings, most of whom live in Scotland; numerous nieces and nephews and brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Paula Lambard.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at the Lambard Family Cemetery in Gainestown with Charles Lambard officiating and Lathan Funeral Home directing.
