Quindell Hart McCurdy of Jackson died September 1, 2019 at Jackson Medical Center. Quindell was born November 19, 1960 to the late Quinton E. and Bertha M. Hart. She had worked as a sheeter operator at Boise for 22 years and was an avid Alabama Football fan who loved cooking for her family and friends. She also enjoyed yard sales, fishing and flowers and dearly loved her family including her precious pets.

Quindell is survived by her husband, William McCurdy, daughters, Deanna Nelson and Amber (Jon) Battles, son, Daniel Nelson (now deceased), grandchildren Brayden Nelson, Jaxx Nelson, J R Battles, Adam Battles, Gracie Battles, Waylon Motes, Logan Motes, and Lydia Blakey as well as numerous other relative and friends.

Combined services will be held for Quindell and her son, Daniel Nelson at Lathan Funeral Home on Friday, September 6, 2019. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm with the funeral service beginning at 3:00 pm with Bro. BJ Hales officiating. Interment will follow in Gainestown United Methodist Church Cemetery.
