Reba Catherine Hodge Kolos, 80, of Jackson, passed away at Rumford Community Home in Rumford, ME on Thursday, September 16, 2021. She was born in Jackson on July 23, 1941 to Raymond D. Hodge and Sarah Reeves Hodge. She retired from Ciba Chemical Company prior to moving to Maine. Her hobbies included quilting, gardening, canning and cooking. She raised her own blueberries which she used to make blueberry wine. She was always ready for a road trip anywhere and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially at the family camp in Maine.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Freddie Joe Kolos; granddaughter, Cathy Ramey and siblings Ray Hodge and Eleanor McDonald.
She is survived by her sons, James Ramey, Doug Ramey; grandchildren, Wayne Ramey, Joshua Ramey, Paige Ramey; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Roxie (Jerry Roy) Sellers, Ramona Jane (Thomas) Powell; sister-in-law, Elaine Hodge and numerous other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Hodge Cemetery in Coffeeville with the Rev. Renea Henderson officiating and Lathan Funeral Home directing. There will be no public visitation.
Pallbearers will be Daffin Hodge, Dean Hodge, Terrell Hodge, Timothy Hodge, Clint Powell and Jeremy Sellers.
