Richard Dillon

Richard John Dillon, 74, of Grove Hill, passed away November 12, 2016 at Jackson Medical Center. He was born October 8, 1942 to John Thomas Dillon and Agnes Feeney Dillon in the Canal Zone of what is now Panama. He had been employed as a marine engineer working on the Panama Canal and attended the Jackson First Assembly of God.



He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Roberta Dillon, Frances Dillon and James Dillon.



He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Dillon; sons, John Dillon, Robert Dillon; grandchildren, Matthew Dillon, J.P. Dillon and siblings, Mary D. (John) Connard and Helen D. McDonald.



A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 13, 2016 at Jackson First Assembly of God at 2410 Coffeeville Rd., Jackson, AL with the Rev. E.C. Russell officiating.
