Robbie Dunagan

Robbie Davis Dunagan, 57, of Jackson, passed away Monday, May 23, 2022, at his residence. He was born in Coffeeville on Wednesday, December 9, 1964. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator with Hen Ridge Trucking. An avid fan of The University of Alabama football program, he also enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, riding dirt roads and shooting pool.
He was preceded in death by his parents, D.J. Dunagan, Hazel Alford Lowery; daughter, Amanda Dunagan; sister, Mary Wilkinson and sister-in-law, Christy Lowery.
He is survived by his children, Kristie (David) McElrath, Collin (Rebecca) Dunagan, Abigail Dunagan, Hunter Gardner, Lauren (Thomas) Kersey; grandchildren, Brannon McElrath, Sydni McElrath, Ava Jane Dunagan, Damon McElrath, Robyn McElrath, Gracie Kersey; siblings, Jesse Lowery, Tommie (Lisa) Lowery, Dora (Rusty) Rider, Cliff Dunagan and numerous other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be conducted at 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson with the Rev. Larry Sullivan officiating. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m.
