Robert Henderson

Robert Lee Henderson, age 71, of Grove Hill, AL passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at his home. Mr. Henderson worked at McMillan Bloedel for 31 years and then became the Director of Security at Alabama Southern in Monroeville, AL. In addition, he served in the U.S. Army and Army National Guard. He was preceded in death by his parents, John T. Henderson and Maude Irene Ezell; brothers, John Henderson and Sam Henderson and sister, Betty Hadden. Survivors include his children: Tonya (Don) Lemay, Sonya (Jim) Creighton and Robert Lee "Bobby" Henderson, Jr.; five grandchildren: Corey Creighton, Jamie Creighton, Christopher Fralish, Brittany LeMay and Craig Mozingo; 2 siblings, Alice Jones and Thomas Henderson; Mother of his children, Gloria Cochran; extended family, Angie and Dwight Pugh and their children, Noah and Tiffany; special friends, Clinton Hubbs, Ken Johnson and Peggy Gates. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at 2PM at Tompkins Baptist Church with Bro. Bill Allison officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
