Robert Osborne

Robert Lyle Osborne, 59, of Grove Hill, passed away October 12, 2017 at his residence. He was born August 8, 1958 to Robert C. and Doris Dean Cobb Osborne. He was a self-employed graphics and web designer and had previously worked as a dispatcher in Northport for the police, fire and ambulance service. A graduate of Grove Hill Academy (now Clarke Preparatory School), he also attended the University of Alabama.


He was preceded in death by his parents.


He is survived by his sister Donna (Doug) Valeska; niece, Lacey (Bernard) Scott; nephews, Trey Valeska, Nick Valeska; aunt, Mary Cobb and several cousins.


A private graveside service for family will be conducted at Magnolia Lawn Cemetery in Grove Hill with Lathan Funeral Home directing.
