Ruby Clyde Williams, 84, of Wagarville, passed away September 6, 2015 at the Washington County Nursing Home. A founding member of the Jackson Church of Christ, she was a devoted, faithful servant who loved the Lord and dedicated much of her time to her church. She also deeply loved and cared for her grandchildren and other family members.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin D. Williams and brothers, Harvel Deas and James Deas.
She is survived by three children, Tim (Amy) Williams of Deer Head, Dianne (Larry) Pugh and Marty (Candy) Williams of Deer Head; siblings, Kate (Raymond) Jones of Citronelle, Trinnon Deas of Mobile and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Jackson Church of Christ with Bro. William Harper officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Hooks-Harris Cemetery in Deer Head with Lathan Funeral Home of Jackson directing.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Williams, Joel Williams, Kenny Reeves, Doug Atchison, Charles Pritchett and Matt Rouse.
Honorary pallbearers will be Le Pugh, Sam Rone, Howard Milne, the loving, caring staff of Washington County Nursing Home Unit Three and Dr. Steve Donald.
