Reuben Taft Powell Jr., 86, of Leroy passed away August 15, 2022 at the Washington County Nursing Home. He was born on May 8, 1936 to Reuben Taft Powell and Mildred Mae McIntyre Powell. Reuben worked for Brown and Root Construction and later operated his own accounting business, CABS. Reuben was in the Marine Corp, and served his country during WWII.
Preceded in death by his wife Mary B. Powell.
Survived be sister Ruby Mae Walace.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 19, 2022 at Pine Grove cemetery in Leroy. Dr. Jerry Roberson officiating and Lathan Funeral Home directing. Online condolence may be shared at www.lathanfuneralhome.com
