Shirley Ann Guy Bradley, 80, passed away on July 27, 2024. She was born on August 12, 1943 to her parents, Ivy D. and Mamie Grey Guy. Shirley Ann was a life long resident of Clarke County. She loved her Lord and was a devoted Christian. Shirley Ann attended many churches in the area depending on where the Lord led her. Shirley Ann was a selfless, thoughtful person. If she knew you, she knew your birthday; birthdays were important to her and you would always receive a birthday card, call or message. Shirley Ann was also a story writer. She would write stories about life, love, memories and events to send to her loved ones. They have many handwritten notebooks filled with her legacy which they will cherish for generations to come. Shirley Ann loved music; she spent many pleasurable hours listening to friends and family jam. She enjoyed puzzles and crosswords and was an avid Auburn fan. Shirley Ann loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren dearly; earning the name "Memaw" was one of her greatest achievements.
Shirley Ann is survived by her children, Danny (Paula) Bradley and Keisha (David) Price; daughter-in-law, Dawn Bradley (Mark Leon); grandchildren, Joshua (Jamie) Bradley, Gena Bradley, Shelby Bradley (Raymond) Eggert, Zachary Milstead and Zoey Price; great grandchildren, Jessie Bradley, Waylon Bradley, Dakota Harbuck, and Easton Milstead; siblings, R.L.(Inez) Guy and Randy (Sharon) Guy as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
Shirley Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Ivy D. and Mamie Grey Guy; husband, Robert L. Bradley Jr.; son, Kenneth "KB" Bradley and brother, Odell Guy.
Services will be held Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at Lathan Funeral Home, Jackson. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral begins at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Mike Ballard, officiating. Interment will follow in Peniel Baptist Cemetery under the direction of Lathan Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Tim Day, Steve Ferrell, Josh Bradley, Daryl Beck, Bobby Pritchard and Ray Wallace.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Benjamin Harrison, Tommy Dungan, Hunter Dailey, Derick Alday, Randy Sullivan, Bo Sullivan, John Smith, Jason Sheffield, Jimmy Chancey, Cricket Rester and Tommy Rester.
