Sim Ezell

Sim Ezell was born December 20, 1943 to the late Willie and Mary Ezell in Jackson. Sim passed from life to eternity on Thursday, November 22, 2018 at Jackson Medical Center.
Sim was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria J. Ezell; son, Jarries Ezell; sisters, Sadie Mae Ezell, Louise Ezell Pearson, Mary Lou Darrington, Barbara McReynolds; brothers, Jessie Rodgers, Jr., Joe Ezell, Sammy Ezell and granddaughter, Brittney Robinson.
He leaves to cherish his memories, two daughters, Cynthia (Darryl) Kidd, Sandra (Johnny) Coleman, both of Jackson; three sons, James Keith Ezell, Sr. of Corpus Christi, TX, Michael (Latisha) Ezell of Milton, FL, Patrick (Michele) Ezell of Grove Hill; one sister, Pearline Norwood of Jackson; one brother, Johnny (Norma) Ezell of Jackson; a devoted nephew, Glen Pearson of St. Stephens; 18 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funerals services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Jackson AOH Church of God with Overseer Frank Mitchell, Jr. and Bishop W.C. Curry officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery with Lathan Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Perine, Lazabriel Ezell, Jorwayne Robinson, JaCoby Ezell, Marquis James, Horace Williams and Cornelius Raine, Granddaughters and nieces will serve as flower attendants.
