Thomas Leonard

Thomas Allen Leonard, 88, of Grove Hill, passed away December 6, 2020 at his daughter’s home. He was born on August 17, 1932 to Evie Curtis and Fannie Mae Nelson Leonard. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he was professional truck driver delivering supplies and products all over the south east.
He was preceded in death by his wife; Barbara Jean Leonard, wife; Betsy Sue Brunson, his parents, and grandson, Thomas Albert Overton. Brothers; Bill Leonard and Evie Alexander Leonard.
He is survived by his children; Mary Jane Williams of Fulton, Anna Mae Leonard Overton of Plant City, FL, Thomas Allen Leonard II, of Daytona, FL, and Ashley Newton of Grove Hill. Grandchildren; Raymond Overton, Sophie Newton, and great grandchildren; Thomas Overton and Ashton Overton, sister in law; Marion Leonard.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Tompkins Baptist Church Cemetery.
