Timothy Lankford

Timothy M. "Timmy" Lankford, 58, of Jackson, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2021 at his residence surrounded by family. He was born to Raymond Cleve Lankford and Gladys P. Roney Lankford on September 9, 1962. He has served in the Army National Guard, had worked in the construction industry and was a member of Walker Springs Road Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a passionate fan of The University of Alabama football program as well as the girl's softball program. More than anything, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Ray Lankford, Jerry "Bubba" Lankford, Mickey Lankford, Randy Lankford, Sue Keith and Leigh Lankford.
He is survived by his wife, Katrina Napper Lankford; sons, Garry (Leah) Miller, Christopher (Victoria) Miller, Mason (Courtney) Miller; grandchildren, Erica Miller, Wyatt Miller, Alaya Miller; siblings, Perry (Trish) Lankford, Mark Lankford, Phil (Debbie) Lankford, Chris Lankford, Derek (Deanna) Lankford, Helen Tarver, Katie Pledger, Vicky (Tony) Cooper, Cathy (Randy) Harrell, Polly (Timmy) Bozeman and numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson with the Rev. Tim Sullivan officiating. Visitation will begin on hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Ebenezer Cemetery in Wagarville with Lathan Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers will be Adam Bozeman, Brian Hayes, Luke Lankford, Matt Lankford, Raymond Lankford and Mikey Strickland.
Honorary pallbearers will be Doug Atchison, Johnny Dawson, Harry McKsall and Bill Spence.
