Trent Alexander Brash, 26, of Jackson, passed away far too soon on February 18, 2025. Born December 13, 1998, Trent was one of a kind-a sharp mind, a big heart (even if he didn't always let on), and a unique sense of humor. He had a way of seeing the world that was all his own, and once you were in his circle, you knew you had someone who would have your back no matter what.
Trent was a gifted electrician who could fix just about anything and also an exceptional musician. He valued his quiet time on the porch, cigarette in hand, soaking in life's little things. He also had a razor-sharp wit and could fire off the most unexpected, off-the-cuff remarks that left everyone either laughing or wondering how his brain worked so fast.
He knew he sucked at showing it, but family was everything to Trent. As big brother, he was equal parts protector, instigator, and the guy who always showed up when it mattered. Laila, Finn, and Allison knew they had someone who would go to the ends of the earth for them. He cherished fishing with Nathan and playing Call of Duty with Sean, his best friend, who he also considered a brother.
Most importantly, he loved sharing his life with Raven. They were inseparable, their days filled with laughter and the kind of inside jokes that only true soulmates understand. Their most ordinary moments felt special.
Trent is survived by his fiancée Raven A. Walker; his parents Joshua and Jody Freeman; his siblings Nathan (Hannah), Laila, Finn, Allison, and Amber; his nephew Bennett; his grandparents Richard and Elizabeth Flores ("Tito and Nana"), and Jim and Tammy Freeman ("Papa and Granny Tam"); his in-laws John and April Walker; and, of course, P-Cat.
Those who loved him will carry on his memory the way he would have wanted. Closed services will be held at a later date-quickly and privately.
